Not sure what you mean. I've not 'only ridden a CV'. Where did you get that idea?

The point is - you can only get an idea if CV works, if you can ride exactly the same frame, one with and one without, CV.

You can't compare a CV XR4 to a non CV XR2, for example.

The Infinito CV is a comfortable ride, with 25s and under 90PSI. It's a brutal ride on my rough roads, over 100 PSI. Jarring actually. My S5 is just the same, it doesn't have CV in it but with the 25s on it's a muted ride too. Again, that's not a direct comparison though. Different layups, geometry etc.

You're right, not sure where I pulled that one from - my bad.

I'm not sure if its really possible to make a CV+ and a CV- frame because CV is structural. Would you use the carbon in the same way in the CV- frame? Possibly not...

I've heard the Infinito isnt amazingly comfortable... and the Specialissima is meant to be moderately harsh too. So thats solid evidence against my lofty CV claims above. Perhaps it is all smoke and mirrors. Nonetheless, I've got 23c Michelin power tires on Enve 6.7 clinchers and the XR4 is easily the most comfortable 'very stiff/responsive' frame I've ridden. The same holds for the ride with Easton EC90 Aero 55 tubs.

It's here:

Got countervail but not the integrated Stem/bar of the XR4. Looks more like a XR2

So the frame's about 130g heavier than the XR4. No word on price, maybe £2700?

The XR4 looks best in celeste, but the XR3 I think looks best in black. Would be my pick anyway.

Need to see someone spec it out with deep rims and some aero bars :o

Can somebody please ask Bianchi to remove those very ugly FSA cranksets? 9100 groupset, but a cheap looking FSA....i don't understand it, it's such a downgrade imho.

Monocoquue rear triangle like the XR4, and seat post and clamp from the XR4. More than an XR2 with CV then. That's good. Hope it feels as lively as the XR4 does, and that it will be a worthy successor to the Sempre Pro. Celeste for me, as always. I note that they've made the head tube standard length, like the Specialissima, and not the -5 mm across sizes of the XR4. Geometry elsewise like the XR4.

And the first price claimed for XR3 here in local Bianchi Dealership.

The price they ask is 2600 eur for complete bike with Shimano 105 groupset and Fulcrum Racing Sport

To me look very balanced price for what they offer

Agreed. The FSA crankset looks like a budget kit you find on an entry level road bike
