Hi folks

Anybody using Conti Grand Prix 4000s on their caad 12 ?
Wondering if I can fit their 28mm version on my caad12 disc bike .
Seems they come up a bit big at 30mm

You shouldn't have any problems, I regularly run 28s on a wide rim with plenty of clearance. I've actually thought about running 30s in the winter.

It's not about width, if your fork doesn't clear the height. Continental 4000S II is the tallest tire of all. It measure 29mm tall and ~31mm wide (depend on inner width of your rim) http://www.bicyclerollingresistance.com ... i-23-25-28

Last I checked, the only fork that would clear this tire is 2017 Trek Domane disc. There are exception with titanium/steel frames and gravel/adventure bikes (e.g., Specialized Diverge).
