Hi
First Post, have the latest Trek Madone 9.5 that came with Vision Metreon 40 Carbon wheels, with Swisstop Pads.
Couple of questions, are there better pads that will improve the braking performance, at 92 KG I'd like the best performance possible
If I was to change the wheels what carbon wheels over the best braking performance?? I was looking at the Enve 6.7 but the design seems a few years old now. Also the Campag Bora One's but my OCD doesn;t want to put Campag Wheels on a Shimano bike.
Thanks for any suggestions.
Cheers Sean

In my experience (Zipp and Reynolds wheels), the best braking available in carbon is from Reynolds wheels. I presently use Zipp 404's on my Madone 9, and the braking, generally, is pretty good, however, the Reynolds wheels were better.

The revised Enve brake track is superb. But very pricey.
The new Mavic Pro Carbon SL are absolutely brilliant as well.
