Ax Lightness Leaf vs Dash M4 saddle
Moderator: robbosmans
I'm choosing a new lightweight saddle and I'm torn between these two.
The Dash is incredibly light at 56g but also almost twice the price, while the Ax Lightness is still light at 75g.
Anyone has opinions about the quality, reliability, style, comfort of these two pieces?
And of course if there is any other saddle that I should consider I'm open to alternatives.
Thanks!

Style and Lightness is nice for both saddles. But not every saddle may fit us well.
My friend purchased the Ax Lightness Leaf recently and ended having to sell it after a couple of rides. The saddle did not fit him and due to the shape/design of the saddle it pushed his knees out...

I've been pining after the leaf for a while. I found an older s works toupe from 2010, the minimal full carbon version. Sure the weight is almost double but you can also get them very very cheap

I cut the rails off of my Dash Tri.7 and attached them to a custom carbon shell I had Simmons make molded from an ISM Podium, but with the rear cut off, so only 80mm long. Sub 90g with a small layer of dense foam and covered with 3M dinoc
I use a leather covered leaf... awesome saddle

does the leather help with grip when climbing? I've found that some full carbon saddles are too slippery for my taste, letting me slide off the back.
I've got an Astute VT skylight too, and its super slippery
