It seems strange to us because we tend to think Campy OR Shimano. My guess is where sponsorship is concerned, wheels are treated independently of groupsets and Campagnolo is the wheels sponsor for this team.

Um...no. Shimano is the wheel sponsor lol. T-mobile has even been relegated to using shimano's aerodynamically atrocious front wheel on their time trial bikes. These are probably just left over wheels.

Shimano is testing "new" Dura-Ace wheels with T-Mobile, what you see are preproduction prototypes in action.

Yes, In the picture they are Campagnolo Wheels.
Reasons:
1-Unmistakable Hub Shape
2-Skewer
3-Colour of Rim & Brake Surface
4-"Campagnolo" logo visible in high-resolution picture
5-Almost identical to Neutron

But, I suspect they will do the big races, or most races on Shimano Wheels.

It would be very unlikely that they run Campy wheels and Shimano groupsets.

This is getting amusing to me. Um...no, they are not hyperons. They are neutrons, as they have an aluminum braking surface. Telekom never raced on hyperons lol, they usually raced on all-carbon Boras.

They have/had just a stock of Campy wheels and use them still. I think all the Hyperons are sold now.

Definatley Neutrons, the Shimano wheels must be is short supply - I don't think it will last to long though.

Another Qn - Why was Ullrich using A Lightweight and a Mavic Comete when Campag make the Bora and Ghibli?
