Dura ace 7900 shifters with 9100 breaks ?? Compatibility

They are not much lighter than my current ultegra 6800 but the dura ace brakes have very nice stopping power.

Also I was thinking of TRP R960 ti brakes any expirence with these ?? 230 grams for the pair.

I have 7900 dura ace shifters. So in wonder if the 9100 brakes are compatible??

I used 9000 brakes with 7900 shifters for a few years with no issues. Not quite 9100 but close.

The video discusses the 7800 model, not 7900.

7900, 9000 and 9100 all use the same cable pull.

Compatible and should be no issues. The BC-9000 (DA brake cable/housing) is also a worthy upgrade while you are at it.

Gear cables under tape = new brake pull ratio.
Exposed gear cables = old brake pull ratio.

I had to check this last year when i started mix n match of 9/10/11 groups. Before then I'd not had to mix anything.

FWIW the 9 speed calipers work passably well with my 10 speed shifters.

I used 6700 ultegra shifter and 9000 brakeset.
No problem.
9000 brakes is very goooooooooooooood. Perfect!!

Shimano has not updated the cable pull since 7900, so you're fine.
