Steerer offcut weight

Before I joined Weight Weenies I looked everywhere for information on how much weight can be lost from forks after they are cut to size but couldn't find much information.
I cut my 1 1/2 - 1 1/8" tapered 3T Rigida Ltd forks today so I thought I'd share my findings.

The 95mm steerer offcut weighs only 28 grams.

My fork after bonding in the metal insert weighs 294 g (more than expected)

However, I was able subtract another 12 grams for the Extralite expander I was intending to use because the top cap bolt now screws directly into the threaded insert.
