Flo recommend GP4000s 23s on their wheels because of the 105% rule (you can read about that on Silca.cc) is required to maintain the correct airflow from the tyre onto the rim.

Not to change the subject, but there is a new 3.4 coming very soon. It was due to be a redesigned. I know that it will be tubeless compatible, and redesigned for a 25c as the standard tire up from a 23c on the current version. Also GEN 2 of the brake track. Will be interesting to see what happens with the weight using new the new composite technology available now

Can you say a bit about this "new composite technology" wherein you speak?

I am not privy to exactly what they have done composite wise, but in the last 5 years since the introduction of the 3.4 SES composite materials, design and construction have changed substantially. My 4.5's with textured brake track are lighter than my current 3.4's with the original brake track and they have a lot more composite material. Though I don't know for sure, I expect that the new 3.4 will be lighter, and wider with yet another brake track improvement.

Road & disk brake wheelsets work best with 25mm iirc
