I'm looking for crank ideas to fit a 2017 Scott Addict with BB92 PF.

I've seen the obvious SRAM Red22 heavyweight option, but not much else... what am I missing?

By the way, should I also search for BB86 and BB386 EVO cranks? Are they much the same?

Thanks for the info and hopefully a little education.

Ride strong, Weenies.

Pretty certain it's BB86. BB386 isn't the same, identical width shell but different diameter shell.

Campag, Shimano & Sram have cranks to fit using specific adapters and bottom brackets. Campag SR Ti and Sram Red are pretty light but there are other lighter boutique options.

I work at a Scott Dealer. I can confirm that it's BB86. Sorted

Second, you have a few options.

You can put on a BB86 to 30mm BB on, like this kogel unit here. A friend has one and he loves it.

Then you can put any 30mm spindle crank that isn't a straight BB30 spindle width crank. This includes Campagnolo Over Torque cranks(what my friend runs), 30mm Easton/raceface cranks, etc. etc. That would be your best option for weight saving.

Hope this helps

Yes, helps immensely. Will send an IM / DM with a couple follow-up questions.

You're a mind reader on the Kogel BB ... just what I was thinking. Seems to have rec'd very good reviews.

Sadly, looks like SRAM Red22 GXP for me.

The THM Clavicula with PF86 is big $$$ and I've blown my wad on loads of different bits for a new build already.

The Kogel ceramic is in ... BB86-24 GXP / BB92-24 GXP

Yeah, about to say, Scott uses the PF86. Some type of GXP. I use a SRAM Quarq PM and this BB KC86GXPCH 1 KCNC BB86 w/ ANGULAR CONTACT Ceramic $120.00
Hybird Bearings, GXP.

This is an informative link on BB compatibility with various cranks. Though it's manufacturer / product specific (C-bear), the info matches what I've learned from a dozen online sources. In short, there's not a lot of choices with BB86 PF right now though THM Clavicula ($) will work even though it's not noted. Just wanted to share.

...and here's a similar infographic from Kogel compliments of bikerumor.
