Yes, another help me choose thread. Nearly done with the build though so hang in there :)

Have fat aero bars on the bike (Cervelo aero bars) and not so keen on how it makes the stem look skinny. Want a fat stem now. Zipp's SL Speed is lighter though, while being quite fat - 50mm wide (current one is 47mm).Only 3mm fatter but also looks a bit posh so forgivable. Wondered if you guys have a take on it.

My indecision is that the Sprint looks better from the side, and the Speed looks better top down.

If aesthetics is the criteria, match the Sprint with gloss bars and the SL Speed with matt bars.

So with Cervelo's own aero bar, stick with the Speed.

Yeah really is aesthetics I'm going for here. The Sprint is a -12 though too which may make the bike less endurance-y at the front?

Actually not sure the Sprint will even fit the Cervelo bars. Seems to have a chubby faceplate and can't see a single pic of an S5 with the Sprint and original aero bars..

I plan to upgrade a couple of bikes to SL Speed stems and SL posts some time before spring. I like the aesthetic of the speed.
