Just picked up a new bike, a 2012 Time RXR Ulteam

It came with full Super Record Titanium, no saddle, and 44 3T Ergonova Pro(Alloy) bars. A friend traded me Chorus with an Ultra-Torque crank and 400 dollars. As much as I like Super Record, I needed the money, and couldn't say no. I tossed on a spare Fabric Scoop Pro, and went down a handlebar width for some 42's, but still ergonova pros. Many things I want to change...

This is going to be my long term project.
Upgrade list(for now)
Aero Carbon Handlebars(Deda Superzero, Easton Ec90 Aero)
Light Clinchers
Bora One 50's
Full Carbon Saddle
Lightweight Link Style Cable Housing
Ceramic bearings(Bottom bracket+jockey wheels)

Very nice. A set of Boras with the bright label would really pop with that frameset. More pics please.

That looks really good. Would love to see it with the boras.

Ceramic BBs are a bit of a waste of money.

I'm probably going to go for dark labels as I can only afford one set and the dark labels would look better on my other bike :( :(

Nah, the bike now has chorus on it with a Comp Ultra running in a normal FSA Megaevo BB. I couldn't afford to keep the super record

Probably not going to, but if I can get a good deal on the bearings, it's a possibility.

looks great and even better with bora dark. how does it ride? i am very interested in these bikes but then there was all this stuff about some of them having twisting occurring in the top tube. how does it ride do you think and have you noticed anything when cornering for instance?

i presume there was something going on with one bike in a hundred or something but of course i do not know.

i think you got one of the best colours. so bright and clean, much better than a black/grey type setup. looks to be in pretty good nick too!

I got a new saddle for the bike. I need something Light and wideish, this 143mm Toupe S works(the rare full carbon one) fits the bill perfectly. Can't wait to put it on tonight.

Sweet bike! Here's another vote for BORA's.

Always had a soft spot for these: its tubes are uniquely intriguing and TIME's carbon story is increasingly rare.

New saddle and new skewers. Not bad for an almost 5 year old bike

I just dismanted my VIP.. Its definitely a great bike and sure you'll love it.. Graphics are a bit loud throughout the bike but you clearly won't be having trouble getting noticed. Ride and Enjoy!
