I am Shimano customer from Thailand.
Last 2 weeks I purchased Dura-Ace C40 wheel set from authorised local dealer and found that there's something wrong with my C40.
I found that my C40 rim dimensions are not match with what Shimano describes on its website. My C40s rim depth and width are smaller and they are same as C35s rim.

Rim Width should be 24 mm (17C) with Rim Depth 37 mm.

and what I could measure

I have contacted local distributor in Thailand and They have been investigated and found that all of C40 wheelsets that they import got the wrong specification.
They contacted Shimano Singapore which is headquarter of region southeast Asia in order to find out what happen with these C40s last week. and no response yet till now.

What happen with them?

and Its dimensions are same as C35 exactly ??

now Shimano distributors in Thailand stop selling C40 wheel already and waiting for answer from Shimano headquarter about this issue.

Anyone order C40 Wheels? Are their diameters of your wheels correct?

From the Shimano 9100 product website -

http://bike.shimano.com/content/sac-bike/en/home/components11/road/dura-ace-9100/wh-r9100-c40-cl-f.html
http://bike.shimano.com/content/sac-bike/en/home/components11/road/dura-ace-9100/wh-r9100-c40-cl-r.html

lists them both as 35mm and 20.8.

The tubular versions are listed as 37mm and 28 matching your catalogues -

http://bike.shimano.com/content/sac-bike/en/home/components11/road/dura-ace-9100/wh-r9100-c40-tu-f.html
http://bike.shimano.com/content/sac-bike/en/home/components11/road/dura-ace-9100/wh-r9100-c40-tu-r.html

I wonder if the product catalogues are wrong?

Wow. I just subscribed to the thread. Please let us know how things go with this. Can you post an image about the side of the rim and the stickers on it?

I think the website is the old specs that did not get updated yet. If you look at online stores. The specs all say 40mm deep, 24mm wide.

Do they have the 2017 graphics ?

My guess is
1. Somebody made a huge c**k up at the factory.
2. They had some leftover 35mm rims and thought they could shift them under the radar without anybody noticing.
3. There are 2 different versions.

Im going with no.1

Shimano EU website also updated C40 spec sheet without notice.
I think they want to sell C40 with C35 rim diameter.
omg...

Shimano in 'cock-up, no admission of guilt, attempt at cover up, then not knowing how to do basic stuff with a computer like update a website in order to achieve this' shocker.

So they basically didn't upgrade their clinchers at all besides the new stickers. This is ridiculous.
