Hi all, tried the search and also Google but couldn’t find this info.

Any S-Works SL6 owners care to confirm if the supplied FACT seatpost saddle clamp mechanism can accommodate carbon 7x9 rail saddles, or do I need to stick with 7mm round rails.

Want to use a Selle Italia SLR Flow Kit Carbonio that has 7x9 oval rails but if the seatpost saddle clamp can’t take this, then I will use the version with manganese rails, which is 7mm round.

Thanks!

Comes with both cradles to handle round or oval 7x9mm carbon rails.

You'll be able to use that saddle with no issues.

Opinion: Thinking about swapping from my 2016 zipp 404 to roval clx 50s (maybe tubulars) to save about 300g .....does anyone have experience with both and can comment one way or the other? This would get me down to around 14 lbs. My zipp 404 are the only wheels I have used since I switched to road from mountain bikes about a year ago

I had 2010 Non-Firecrest Tubular 404's, and I have 2013 808 Tubulars. All the Rovals I've used have all been clinchers so they have been heavier, but also much stiffer. I have both CLX64, and 50's currently, and I really love the CLX 50's. I want to sell my 808's, and buy some CLX50 Tubulars. I suspect that is the ultimate wheel, for stiffness/weight/aero.

Anyone got any size 49 SL6 pics of their setup?

I test rode the one below and that’s been adjusted to my fit (694mm saddle height, 100mm stem,). My height is 165 but I’m more leg than torso. Front end on this was high though, so will drop a spacer and not do the hoverbar. Also the saddle is weird and I always do a SLR fully level.

Aesthetic wise must admit the slope is severe, but when you run a decent saddle bar drop, I find it balances out. Tried a 52 too but no way I could get a comfortable fore-aft. Zero offset might help, but not sure. The 49 fit me well on my 1hr test ride. Also ride a 45s C60 and a 465 Dogma. Both are a great fit, albeit the C60 feels a tad long.

I’m keen on the pink camo SL6 but can’t find good pics of it in 49. Anyone got pics of this, or other 49 setups?

As availability is getting thin on the rim brake bikes I'm torn whether I should pull the trigger or wait to build a disc bike later in the year. I have almost everything I would need for the rim brake model save DM brakes. I have a dedicated rain bike so it's mainly a matter of future compatibility and weight.

Finally received my Tarmac Pro, it was a long long wait after putting down the deposit in November.

I'm stoked with the paint scheme, photos definitely don't do it justice. It must add a ton of weight to the frame but damn it looks good. Specialized have really raised the bar on paint schemes of late - I've had lots of people ask if it's a custom paint job.

I'm still to change over the stock bars and stem to a set of Aerofly bars and Zipp Speed SL stem, just waiting on my bike shop to have time to internally route the bars.

Final weight should be a tick over 7kg with pedals included in a size 54, I'm pretty happy with that for a Pro level frame. Now to start saving for some ee brakes...
