Something that fits just like 105/Ultegra/DA without adapters or anything. Preferably ultra cheap :P

Just need it temporarily so really don't want to lose much buying and reselling. Any third party chain sets around? Would only be used on the turbo trainer too anyway briefly while I reshuffle kit between bikes.

Would some used Sora thing like this work with 11 speed? (or do you really need a 11 speed chainset too)

105 FC-5800 can be sourced online verrrry cheaply... perfectly functional, and you could always sell it for 1/2 you payed.

Any 9/10/11 speed will work.

One of those FSA oem chainsets, the gossamer or omega. I got one on an auction site for $15 shipped. It's heavy and ugly, but it's there for me if I need it.

@ Marin, nice, that means I can go super cheap and get a Tiagra or something. The 5800s are still pricey it seems, around £75, even second hand ones are around £50

@F45 nice, checking those out. 15 dollars is more in line with expectations :o

I've got a Veloce which I think would work for a turbo set up. It looks like you're in the UK and would do it cheap as it needs new bearings (easy if you've got a puller...)

Tiagra 4700 is your best bet.
