thx. i have an older set...but i'm not even certain i put the lock washers in as it is in the install guide.i'll have to check my brakes....i have them somewhere in a zip lock bag.

I managed to install them as a little grease made a world of a difference! However the outer cable housings, ie SRAM slick wire are way too stiff that its forcing my caliper off center so I guess my quest for a more pliable brake cable-set continues. I've always been a fan of Nokon's despite their rather finicky setup process...was thinking of going down the route of trying Jagwire Elites...
