Besides the disc brakes, it probably carries extra weight in that monstrous downtube and in the Roval wheels. No matter for the power Sagan puts to the pavement.
Anybody besides me notice how often Brits say the word "whilst?" Kind of annoying. Just one article without it would be refreshing.

It's almost 2kg extra for a feature he doesn't need, I've no doubt the only reason he'll ride it is to appease Specialized.

Nope, it's grammatically correct, so what's the problem?

So you're saying he doesn't need aero? The caliper brake version of the bike weighs 8.01kg

My steel disc steed weighs 8.2, that seems heavy for carbon. I'm guessing that's slightly more aero than my bike though.

From the looks of things, it's only Geraint Thomas with 9170.

You mean at TDU? Stage 1 is Monday. People's choice thing is tomorrow. So ready for some racing to get the season going. But GCN, Steephill or something will likely show the bikes early.

Looks like rim brakes still. I did read somewhere discs are allowed starting Jan 1 in WT.

Who knows what they'll do to show off the bikes, or which Peter will demand when. Probably have both at the ready.

Even with the extra weight, I bet he's faster than 99.999% of the members here.

I suppose it's just me. Americans never use the word, instead opting for words such as whereas, while, although, meanwhile, during, etc. In fact, I rarely hear Brits actually say 'whilst' - it only seems to appear in written form. And frequently misused when another word makes more sense. Sorry about being a grammar nazi...it's just getting awfully cliche to me.

And, yes, us Americans write or say some pretty stupid things ourselves. "At the end of the day" is about the most worn-out cliche lately.

I doubt he's running the disc version so correct item number is 9150
