Or in other words, is the diameter of Shimano brake cable the same as Campag brake cable?

(I know the nipples are different - the Shimano cable is to be used with Shimano levers).

jag wire has Shimano one side...Campy the other. also PTFE coated. i usually get that as spares. if i have to replace the cables in my Campy or my Shimano....i can use same cable...i just flip it and trim off the one i don't need.

Thganks. I knew Campag was 1.6, but have never been sure of what Shimano was.
