Does anyone know which DI2 components are necessary to get the syncro-shift capability? I have the current Ultegra DI2 and I haven't found anywhere that says what hardware is necessary to get syncro-shift. New battery? New anything else? I know that firmware updates are needed but I was wondering if any hardware updates are needed if I don't care about Bluetooth connectivity. The compatibility chart doesn't say what I need.

The bluetooth compatible internal battery or bluetooth external mount and a wireless unit, either the standalone ew- wu101 or one of the new bluetooth enabled junctions.

In order to have synchronized shifting you need to have latest battery and not yet available firmware. If you want to have Bluetooth connectivity then you'll need wireless unit wu111 or wu101
