Hello all! I have a quick question.

I currently have a Quarq Riken coupled to GXP 172.5mm arms. I'm curious if I am able to take the Riken spider from my GXP arms and swap it over to SRAM S series BB30/PF30 arms. Has anyone tried this before?

I am fairly confident that yes, you can swap the spider between GXP and BB30 arms. You should probably double check with Quarq though.

How about the calibration?
Thst would be my main concern.

Pretty sure its the same from what I looked at on mine, swapping is easy just make sure you clean off the old lock tight between the crank and spider and reapply. I think it takes 24hrs to cure the lock tight before riding if I remember right.

I have done this a few times. Works fine. Go for it. Just make sure that when you re-install on new S900 crankset that you torque Quarq mounting screws to proper spec. and that you use Quarq specified loctite product on the spider / crank interfaces.

If it's the newer quarq its not a problem I've done it a couple times never any problems or changes, I think calibration was a issue on the older ones like the s975
