I believe J&L make an expander for a 1" fork as well.
Glad I could help!

I don't have experience with the expander, but all the other J&L products I have ordered have been good.
I ordered from this seller; fast shipping (to USA) and a very nice guy: J&L 1" expander.
There are a bunch of FSA on eBay, but I don't know the weight: FSA 1" expander.
Finally, this one by Ti Cycles looks very sturdy, but heavy at claimed 45g. The bolt could be replaced of course: Ti Cycles 1" expander.

I've installed mine...not too impressed so far, I had to really tighten mine to stop it spinning. I wouldn't be surprised if I see that sharp edge has marked or dug into my steerer either...

I bought a 1 1/8" J&L for my Colnago C59 and it was too large for the fork.
