Risk of removing DTSwiss decals?

The wheels for my new Parlee Chebacco are amazing- Enve M50's laced to dt240 hubs. Light, wide and understated. The only problem is that they have bright red decals all over the hubs!
Has anyone removed these before, and do you see any issues in trying to do so through/between the spokes? The only thing worse than the decals would be little bits of torn decals!
Any experience or insight would be greatly appreciated.

Heat, like hair dryer.
If glue remains, rub your figer untill it drops off or use glue remover and a cloth rag.

What about removing just the red parts on RR440 rims?
The same: use hand and/or hair dryer to peel off?
I really wish these rims had the all-white graphics, like the R460s.

Old thread, but I figured I wasn't the only one who likes DT Swiss hubs but doesn't like looking like a rolling paramedic (I.e., the Red Cross in the USA uses a red cross for their logo.)
Has anyone has success with removing or masking the red decals on their more modern (2020) DT Swiss hubs? I have some of the new 240 hubs with the EXP rachet on order and wish they looked more like the solid black 180 hubs do ($$$)

The regular hubs? Prior, ther were just a decal. It's hard to tell in the current photos, but I think i see an edge in one of them.
I've had real good luck with these, but they don't have EXP graphics now.
The wheelsets get painted grapics and textured paint jobs. The graphics will likely be a less durable paint so try acetone or wet sanding with 1000/2000 grit.
Lastly, you may want to just paint over them with some paint - maybe fine someone to cerakote the hubs.

I'm going to keep my fingers crossed and hope my hubs come with stickers! I'd be just fine with "naked" hubs
Did you apply the decals dry or do the "window tint install" thing and apply the decals with soapy water and squeegie the water out? The latter would potentially allow for repositioning the decal to get them straight. Since my hubs will be coming on a set of already built wheels, I'm thinking it'd be really hard to get the decals on straight using a dry technique (I.e., just slappin' the decals on.)
