A friend forwarded me something a bit left field today: a link to Tim Crossman, a guy from Ukraine who seems to be a bit of a mad scientist and makes his own filament wound tubes and frames. (http://timcrossman.com/en/). Couldn't find much about him yet, except that he was in bikerumor with an odd looking mini bike (https://www.bikerumor.com/2016/03/11/na ... e-ukraine/).

From what I can tell he hasn't made a large number of frames yet (or at least I haven't seen pictures) and the surface finish on the ones I saw doesn't look particularly good. Pretty funky to see someone build a filament winding machine, though and I'm curious what he comes up with going forward.

Has anyone else dealt with him / seen his stuff?

Cheers

This looks crazy, but I cannot wait to hear what others have to say.
