Hi,

I have lined up a repaint for my road bike and am looking for a graphic designer to improve on my basic design ideas / skills. Thanks in advance for recommendations.

Are you going to pay for their skills?

Dunno what you want exactly and how complex but often painters can advise you well when you come with an idea.
So maybe ask your painter that you choose for the job?

Don't know where you are located but I've used Calfee and Spider Composites in California. They both help you out with designing your paint scheme...

How about using fiverr for design n concept, and taking it to the paint shop?

Call Jack 910-455-1011. Kanebikes.com if you haven't already promised someone your paint job. If you like his work then tell them Gary sent you and see if that gets you anywhere. Maybe, maybe not.

I could help you out as well. I've designed paints and patterns for both bikes and clothing.

Kind of off topic, but when firing up a repaint project, i have a slight problem.
I know the frame should be sanded. But i wonder if anyone of you have any tips on how to make this like a pro?
What i worry about is if i sand the frame uneven or just not in line.
You know, so when the paint comes on, you see all imperfections in the job done underneath the paint.

Also wonder, what is the true weight a solid color + clear coat?
I was told 80 grams for paint and about 20 grams for clear coat (frame without fork and seat post).
Does this seem correct?
Bikes:

Ax Lightness Vial EVO Race (2019.01.03)
Open *UP* (2016.04.14)
Paduano Racing Fidia (kind of shelved)

Ex bike; Vial EVO D, Vial EVO Ultra, Scott Foil, Paduano ti bike.
