old steel frame conversion to new groupset

I have a 99 quid steel MTB frame, decked out with XT/XTR and a £600 lightweight race fork. Mostly mid range Easton finishing kit and to finish it off, the heaviest non-DH wheels and tyres on the planet. (total wheel/tyre/cassette is something like 5.5 kilos)

It's still a cheap rubbish steel frame, and handles like it, but everything on it works really really well.

Life is too short to worry about stuff like this......
