I think it needs to be, as there are plans for a CS-HG800-11s. its a 11-34 and will fit on a 10 speed road hub. Designed to match the R8000 derailleur.

So the can also sell it at tight ratio MTB cassette. The smallest 11speed MTB cassette is currently 11-40. People running 2x11 dont need a big range.

Saw another pic today, very similar to R9150.

Ultegra crankset looks hideous as usual but the rest is neat. Hopefully di2 and disc components wont take delays like in the Dura Ace case and everyting will be available before the end of the year!

Pfff, boring again. They really want Ultegra to look cheap so more people buy DA.

Anyone else think that the 6800 and 9000 series looks better and feel that it's not worth the $$$ (unless you buy a bike with it) to use. It just seems that the function is close enough that most people won't be able to differentiate. Who knows. But just feels like it's not worth upgrading just for functionality...

Its never worth upgrading if you already have a well working high end 11s groupset.
Personally can't wait for the new Ultegra because of the new hydraulic shifters which should be substantially lighter than rs685 or r785.

I thought the upgrade from 6700 to 6800 was compelling. I don't see that being the case from 6800 or 9000. 9100 is fully compatible with 9000 and I'm guessing the same will be true with the new iteration of Ultegra. It's an easy decision if you are buying a new bike, but as an upgrade doubt you'll notice much. One exception I'm thinking about is the shifters for disc bikes. I'm not crazy about the feel on the old Ultegra so possibly will upgrade that one item only.

Sorry, these aren't taken by me. I would love to see the weights too.
I don't think it's going to be a lot lighter than R6800 though, given that R9100 isn't much lighter than R9000

when the arms are short it's quite difficult to adjust the FD limiter screws...
