With the firmware updates do they describe what each update fixes, adds, changes etc?
Colnago C64 - The Naked Build; Colnago C60 - PR99; Trek Koppenberg - Where Emonda and Domane Meet;
Unlinked Builds (searchable): Colnago C59 - 5 Years Later; Trek Emonda SL Campagnolo SR; Special Colnago EPQ

what should I do if the trim doesn't work when I'm on the big chainring?
it's fine on the small one, but the FD cage barely moves on the big ring.

Cable tension is too tight, you need to make sure left shifter is clocked to zero when you do initial cable tension and not in the trim position.

I thought the manual says to adjust cable tension in the trim position?

Yes it does, but that won't work very well if the left shifter is set to the trim position when the cable is initially installed.

I don't understand what you are saying? How will following the manuals instructions not work well? I have the fd-9100 on one bike and just installed the fd-r8000 last weekend, they have the same adjustment procedure.

Again, it's copy-paste from FD-R9150:

I saw that this morning...Pretty good video with a lot of info.
Basically like the new group but the hefty size of the crank does make me wonder a bit
Could be an illusion but looks massive in that video...Does it really need to be that chunky?

Starbike shows to have the short cage R8050 ready for dispatch. I emailed them and they confirmed it.

+1. On the old crank one can see the black excess glue that is used to glue the two halves together...
