PS: I assume some of those spacers will go away as you become more comfortable..?

Thanks. I like the height of the bars and stem but I'm not sure if I should cut the top off or not. To do that you take the star nut out and then replace it back??

That is if you are using a star nut.... Most likely there is an expander bolt in there...

I'm not sure as I have never dealt with this before. It was a stout looking piece of metal glued? into the top of the carbon steerer that the topcap bolt screwed into.

its a common compact frame problem.... 4 or 5 frame sizes cannot replace 7 or 8
21 for road 27 for mtb :D

I have the same problem, that's why I have a 90mm stem on my Medium TCR. But I feel good on my bike and that's important too.
