New Mavic CXR Elite Wheels

Found these by accident as I was browsing Mavic's website, seems they were shown off at Eurobike but I haven't seen any discussion of them on this forum:

At first I was upset as I'd just ordered a set of CXR 60 clinchers, but upon closer inspection these seem to compete more closely with FLO 60s in the ~1k USD range. Yes, the rims are a non-carbon fiber composite, but they appear to come with Mavic's 'updated' rim profile (as opposed to previous Carbones), tires, and the excellent Exalith braking surface . Interesting and I'd have considered them if I hadn't just bought the CXR 60s.

It looks like Mavic is updating their wheel sets to have 25mm external width. I found this model that replaced the Cosmic SL. I think this set is much better and lighter at 1,650g.
