Hi guys,

Finishing off my new ride (Caad12) & wasnt 100% fitting carbon forks as they don't have "bearing race" on the forks on the lower bearing, can carbon forks operate without bearing race???

Thanks

The forks require a crown race, which would match your headset brand.

Integrated crown races on carbon forks have been a thing for a while now. You don't need a separate crown race for your CAAD 12 fork.

No they don't. The crown race is molded into the steerer.

Sorry about that my Evo has a crown race?

Sure it does. But this is a thread about the CAAD12, not your old design Evo.

To be fair the thread title could have been more specific, but he did mention it in the first post.

Hi guys, did a bit of more homework & Cannondale confirmed I don't need anything on the fork with the cartridge bearings, they sit direct, I just didn't fancy getting a new sat of forks in a few months time!!

Thanks the response!
