so Pinarello F8 XLight which is supposed to arrive in 2017 Feb showed up last week and here it is on my scale.
Size 46.5cm frame 827.9g, fork 379.3g.
FYI rider weight limit is 75kg, instead of rumoured 70kg.

That is one heavy fork, but I'm happy for you that the frame is pretty good on the scale. Hope you have fun building it!
828gr at size 46 so I guess around 1000gr at 56? What's the weight of a regular F8 then?
I mean, if the xlight turns out to be less than 100gr lighter than the F8 and has a 75kg rider limit then it does not worth it.
From the previous thread most agreed that it's a halo-ed object of desire so it doesn't have to make sense [emoji1]. Desirability is a perfectly good reason to follow n+1 rule though!

Totally agree, not sure what my F8 hits the scales at but even if I could I don't think I would. Enjoy the build and the ride

What components are you going to use on your build. !!
will build this one with obermeyer and 9100, but I'm not the one who's going to ride it. so far my customer is loving it.

with 75kg weight limit, I have to doubt if they make 56 at all.
Interestingly, no I have no idea how much a regular F8 weighs. I never weighed one despite I've sold many of them. Next time I get one I'll figure it out.

Disappointed it weighs so much. Was considering getting one.

Sounds nice, look forward to seeing the complete build.
That weight is disappointing - my 55cm F8 fully painted (968) weighs 1075g and the fork is exactly the same. In a way I'm happy about that cos I'm too porky to ride the XL! Enjoy your bike.

Ha, that is a very good point.
Thing is though, there are lighter frames than this with no weight limit, so I don't know what they are playing at.

Yes have 2 Pina's and enjoy them greatly, next build another P? Now that is unlikely
