Hello All,

Here my new supersix evo frame, great frameset but that dreaded creakythirty though...... :|
Now i dont want ask for a solution for the creakythirty , enough on that on this forum. I would just like to know if a threaded pf30 bb system, like this: ( http://wheelsmfg.com/bottom-brackets/pf ... ckets.html ) would fit into my 2016 supersix evo (non himod) frameset.
And does this mean a cannondale bb30 frame is the same as a pf30 frame ?
I am still doubting between a c-bear bb or the above wheels threaded pf30 bb
Thanks for sharing your knowledge ! (better pics soon !)

Cannondale uses confusing terminology on their site, but I suspect the frame is a BB30a which is an asymmetric BB30 design.

You need to determine what you have. A BB30a shell is 73 mm wide. See here http://wheelsmfg.com/bb30a-tech-info

No, BB30 and PF30 are not the same thing.

Maybe someone here will chime in with any alternate BB suggestions.
There's sometimes a buggy.
How many drivers does a buggy have?

One.

So let's just say I'm drivin' this buggy...
and if you fix your attitude you can ride along with me.

The wheels manufacturing BB made no difference to my creaking EVO, if anything it got worse..I'm considering the C Bear option...

Thanks for your replies guys, im going the c-bear and possibly the c-bear/loctite 609 route.

So as i understand from this chart; http://wheelsmfg.com/bb30a-tech-info, the main difference between a bb30a and pf30 bracket system frameset is the inner diameter of the frame bb housing: 42mm <--> 46mm ?

Anybody sells 'I love BSA' shirts ??

Pf30 frames have a 46mm diameter shell, bb30 frames have 42mm shells.

The cranks however are confusingly called bb30 and fit both. This information assumes you have 68mm shell width that is centered (no offset to one side).

Before getting a crank or bottom bracket I would take a good look at the shell and check the width and/or if it's offset to one side. It could influence the available choices of bottom brackets or cranks.

The bottom bracket in your link is a PF30.
