Hello,

I am new in the forum and I would like to ask advice from the campy experts.

I need to replace my shimano freehub body in my Zonda 2013 by a campy one.

According to Campagnolo website, my freehub is the FH-BUU015X1 and I could replace it by the FH-BUU015 (according the 2013 manual) and also by the FH-BO015 (according the 2011 manual) since both are compatible to the FH-BO001 axle of my rear hub. I then bought a replacing FH-BO015 (claimed to be according its seller) but it doesn't fit at all in the axle.

As it may be seen from the following pic, the (suposed) FH-BO015 and my current freehub (shimano) are pretty different regarding theirs rear holes.

For my surprise, the rear hole in the FH-BUU015 is pretty similar to the rear hole of the BO015.

Is the BUU015 and the BUU015X1 that different regarding theirs rear holes?

Would it be safe for me to give to the BUU015 a try?

Thank you,
Rodrigo

Update:

According to http://www.bdc-mag.com/tipologie-di-pig ... -1a-parte/, the difference between the shimano and campy rear holes is due to a compatibility issue. The shimano version would be compatible to both pre-2006 and pos-2006 axle versions.

What I still can't understand is why the FH-BO0015 doesn't fit my FH-BO001 axle.

I cannot tell looking at the pictures, but the logical answer is that you have been sold the wrong (older type) freehub.

Yes! It's pretty raisonnable!

I will give the FH-BUU015 a try.
