I just bought a GS hub and have a few q's for the home team.

I've read that Powertap hubs don't do a great job with cadence. How's it now?

As a happy Garmin 500 user, will I be disappointed with the cadence output from the hub?

I'd like to get rid of the GSC10 speed/cadence sensor to offset the weight gain, but not if the Powertap cadence readout is poor.

Same setup for me, Powertap gives wrong and fluctuating numbers for the cadence.
GSC10 didn't fit well on my frame so I have now the new Garmin sensors (speed on the hub and cadence on the left crank arm) and it works well.
