I've used the Lusso Max Repel bibtights for a few years now. They were initially quite water repellent, but I have the feeling that you may be best to wash them occasionally with something that restores that. I use them pretty much all year round in Scotland. Despite the reasonable price, they seem very good quality. I'd also recommend their knee warmers, they always feel cosy!

I'd say that they're sized for skinny types, much the same as Assos stuff, I take large in both of them. I'm 5'10, 64kg.
If it's proper raining I have Pearl Izumi AmFib bibs, highly recommended for rainy days.
