Sorry the link is to ebay and youtube. But wondering if anyone has used these cages and if they hold ok and what size bottles. It's a bit hard to tell the size of the bottle inthe video etc

I think there is a thread on here about those same cages? The video looks familiar.

Yea, I have been using them on one bike for a season They are not terribly tight gripping on the bottles, but they hold, even 650+ ml bottles. I have had one eject event when I hit an unseen pothole at high speed downhill and rode a nose wheelie as my nuts went concave. (I rode it out, but the front wheel was wobbly fun on the way home.) They are super light, but I still prefer Arundel. Those you can abuse and slam bottles into without looking. These German ones require a little more bottle guidance.

@dereksmalls: haven't seen or tried them, but in case it's useful to you: description says the holders are made for 75mm diameter bottles (which I guess is standard)

Try that thread. Earlier version, with a slight twist at the bottom where the bottle rests, but similar concept cages.
