Got my hands on a first gen cannondale slice (2009) new old stock for a very good price. My national champs is going to be enforcing uci regs strictly starting next year, so I need to make sure it will pass.

From my reading of the uci regs document:
Any frame on sale before 2011 does not need to be on the approved frames list but has to pass muster for the other criteria (3:1, etc).
Frames sold after 2011 have to be on the approved frames list.

Is my reading correct?
I'm not too worried as liquigas raced the same frame for a good couple of years, so it should be good.

Nothing too radical about the Slice frame design so that shouldn't pose a problem. Just be sure your final setup (saddle setback, bar extensions, elbow pad rise height, etc) all end up "in the box" so to speak. And I think they've even modified the 3:1 rule now, but that wouldn't affect your frame.
