I just bought a Climax SP03B which is a Chinese post. This is 27.2mm, 350mm long, 25mm setback and weighs 154g according to my scales. I've only been out for one rine with it so far, but first impressions are good, especially as it only cost £55.

is this the 00 or R1 model?

Mines the R1. If you've got the cash then there are definitely lighter options like the MCFK but functionally I've been very impressed with the R1 (my Deda SuperZero snags on some bibshorts where the clamp is wider than the saddle so less happy with that..).

Unfortunately I didn't weigh it as it was going on the steel frame (only 8.2kg with finishing kit but it's never going to be light by this fourm's standards and I didn't try).

After 3 years my Fizik R1 seatpost clamp started coming loose after a couple rides. Saddle would tilt up and I wouldn't realize it until I got home and my nuts were aching. After a couple months of re-tightening, regreasing and even trying Loctite I gave up.

I swapped to a 3T post with DiffLock which will never ever tilt (vertically at least) and couldn't be happier. If only 3T didn't charge $40 for the damn oval clamps for carbon seat rails.

I've read some reviews saying it creaks or that the rails slide but I haven't had a problem with an Aliante Kium saddle. If it does, I will try an ENVE post next.

Maybe the Enve 2-bolt post is better, it is certainly heavier!

I had the same experience with the POS Enve 1.0 one bolt post. I reluctantly went with the Enve 2.0 post and it's been fine. No problems and very nice looking. I'm very happy with it, though in general I do not like one-bolt posts. On bike #2 I went with the Fizik Cyrano 00 post, which is a two bolt post, rock solid, but not as good looking at the Enve.

Anyone tried the replica? I'm looking for a new seat post for my winter bike and was thinking of the one above. I have a Deda Super Zero on my carbon bike and like it very much, I'm just not willing to spend that much on my beater/wet weather bike.

+1 ... one bolt zero setback WCS has served me well for four years or so ... no slipping / creaking. 154g in my case

I've been a Fizik R1 owner for 3 years now and couldn't agree more with the positive comments that have been mentioned has far. I ride over 10K miles a year and the R1 has held up well. The clamp and adjustment feature is awesome and really well designed. When I put mine on the scale it was 210g for the 27.2 x 330mm model.
