Recently involved in an accident (hit by a truck) and my "good" bike is all Campy 11 Speed.
Getting a brand new bike with Shimanoe, so would like to move my parts that were not damaged to my back up/trainer bike which has Campy 10 speed Centaur.

The 11 speed left shifter (front shifting) is destroyed.
Would Like to Know if I can use my Centaur 10 Speed Left shifter with:
11 Speed Chain, Cassette, front Derailleur.

The 10 Speed shifter is the "new style" 2010 shifter not the old hood design.

Another option:
Keep the 10 Speed Left shifter and 10 SPeed front Derailleur, have 11 speed everything else.
11 Speed chain, cassette, right shifter and rear derailleur.
Would that work?

Is the front shifter power shft or ultra shift? (I don't know the differences between the two myself) It'll probably be sweet as long as you don't try 10 speed rear shifter with 11 spd cassette as the shifting is in the lever, not the RD.

I've got a feeling that the new style 11S front mech runs a much higher tension so it may be too much for your 10S shifter but not 100%.

I'd leave the 10-spd FD on with the Centaur shifter. It will work fine on an otherwise 11-speed drivetrain.

One.

So let's just say I'm drivin' this buggy...

Just put it on and try it. I recall a 10 speed Record shifter worked for me with a 11 speed FD.
