Tips on getting off a super tight tyre

One trick I have learned is this. To get the tube out you only break one bead from the rim. Leave the other bead intact on the rim. Then you slip a tire lever under the bead that is off the rim. The tire comes off easily. I use this trick on the Conti 4000SII and Hed Belgium Plus rims. The same trick might work on other tire/rim combinations.

I usually mount new tires (when the fit is tight) on wheels that accommodate them easily for a few weeks so that they can "stretch" a little bit. Then I "move" them on the regular wheels.

Next time try with a Var tyre lever or similar tool (look on link what I mean)

And buy other tires that has wider fit.
