Just my KCNC Ti skewer came in, swap them out with the OEM Mavic ones, they seems quite a bit light. But I have a few questions about the set up.

When I first use it, should I lube the lever joint?

Is there such thing as too tight when closing the lever?

For rear none lever side, seems like the Ti rod would stick out a out after the skewer is tightened, does it look normal?

I would trim the skewer, esp if it's the front one. I do not like it when it snags and it's WW, so there is no reason not to.

Of course, you do not want to cut it too short, so if you have other frames you use the wheels on, cut it to the thickest frame.

It that looks normal for a rear KCNC Ti skewer after setup, then I will probably just leave it as is for now.

The front doesn't stick out like this though.

I noticed that the front isn't long enough to fully thread on the endcap when using and Enve fork. Anyone else see this?

Did you buy the mtb version which has a longer rod?
