Hi all,
Thought I'd tap into the wisdom of this group to see if anyone has heard anything on a new Dogma in 2017 (to replace the current F8)?
Not trying to start any rumours, just wondering if now should be a time to get one or wait until the next version, given the F8 has now been in the market since 2014.
Thanks!

nothing new except for F8 X, which is technically not a new model, just new paintjobs
there are several threads on it already.

Pina F8X is the light weight version of F8. It has nothiing to do with paintjobs....

Paduano Racing Fidia (kind of shelved)
Ex bike; Vial EVO D, Vial EVO Ultra, Scott Foil, Paduano ti bike.

sorry should have rephrase my sentence..
I meant nothing new but F8X (which applies different light weight material), (the other regular F8's are) just new paint schemes..

I realized the question where if F8X was supposed to replace F8. Nope, it's not!
As far i as i have heard, it is only made and sold in a limited number.
Part from that, it cost quite alot more.

unlike Colnago, Pinarello's "limited" has never had a limit...
The Dogma F8 XLight has a rider weight limit of 154 pounds (70 kg). So there are a "limited" number of riders that can safely ride this frame.
My "regular" F8 weighs in at 6.66 kg (14.68 pounds) so there is no reason for me to get the F8X even if I weighed less than 70 kg.
If you are in to the F8 Disk version, the 2017 has thru-axle whereas the 2016 has QR.

It's all downhill from here, except for the uphills.
For 2017, it is primarily the Dogma K8 range that has had an overhaul, with a new non-suspension version and then disk brake versions of both the suspension and non-suspension models

Definitely envious of the thru-axle "upgrade" on my 2016 disk. It's why I swapped over to DT Swiss screw-on skewers to alleviate any slippage worries.

actually the first batch of F8X was limited, offered in 2 colors, TDF and SKY. but then they released more colors after Froome's TDF win, and never mentioned anything about limited again.
