I have been riding a pair of Lightweight Meilenstein wheels for quite a while now. But possible fancy a change. I have been offered a good price for my Meilenstein wheels, which kind of got me thinking about a possible swap out. Any thought or ideas would be much appreciated. It's a difficult call as the Lightweights are a cracking set of wheels. Thanks in advance

Ha! Not a difficult call at all. Bora Ultras.

The other wheelset I did think about was Enve 4.5 with the new Enve carbon hub

As above, I'd have any set of tubular Boras over LWs (Ones, Ultras, 35s and 50s)

Quite a few others also for that matter

Yes, there is a better alternative; IMO, Meilinstein rear and Gipfelstrum front. Much more stable in windy situations.

Went from Lightweight Standard to Vision Metron 80 wheels. They are more stable in crosswinds (yeah, I was surprised as well), roll much nice, general feel is better. I can only feel disadvantage on the uphills where your speed drops below 20km/h. Other than that they are better.

Front wheel bigger the 50mm is unbearable with winds of 20km or above.

I would and have spent the money on tools and learn how to build my own wheels.

I've upgraded from Meilensteins to Obermayers...like them a lot and got a second set...one with the standard 18t ratchet, and the second with a 36t ratchet.
