I didn´t care about this color thing, but now watching the Rio road race, its actually pretty cool. Like some riders have changed their bikes during race.

Yeah. But today I starts wondering is it not a "gadget". In first month you and your friends will be looking at that "chameleon" bike. But after some part of time you don't give a f*** what color it has.One good thing, that they don't lift price of that components

Nice to see bright colours when almost every bike is black these days.

Because of #rule40 at the Olympics. They want to highlight Specialized to non-cycling audience.

I bought the helmet and shoes and was told they dont change color, the shoes fade from orange to yellow and so does the helmet right out of the box. I am hoping you are right

I believe only pre-production and some other sample shoes were color change. I don't think that made it into the consumer model.

I never expected it on a bike. :)
From a technology point of view not disruptive, since I had those little hot wheels cars about 25 years ago: https://youtu.be/PeQhypA3y-c

Really? If that's true I think it's very dishonest from specialized, given that they're advertising the whole collection as colour changing on their website.
