Supersix Evo hi mod, China or Taiwan?
Moderator: robbosmans
Just looking at bikes at work, we have the 2016 super six Ultegra and the dura ace. Both hi mod, apparently the same frame although one says made in china the other made in Taiwan?
It's hard enough to tell exactly what frame you're getting on the supersix, this just makes it even more complicated.

Don't worry, there are not two versions. All of them are molded in China. If it's painted & assembled in Taiwan (usually complete bikes), it gets the sticker there.

When you buy Cannondale you are banking that they have a separate arrangement for quality control. They've stopped producing their own bikes so in the end its engineering, branding, advertising and name recognition. Seems to be a better engineered and more reliable product than say a Cervelo so why worry. If your concerned about who is actually making the bike and where its produced this is probably the wrong brand for you.

really?
There's sometimes a buggy.
How many drivers does a buggy have?
One.
So let's just say I'm drivin' this buggy...
and if you fix your attitude you can ride along with me.

Depends if you ask either a chinese or a taiwanese.
But this isn't a subject to discuss on a cycling forum.

Thanks for the info regarding the frames.
I like Cervello but there's something about the innovation, styling, history and uniqueness of Cannondale that I love.
I love the way they forge their own path, everyone else is making aero bikes and cannondale makes the slate. Following the road less traveled.
Also as a guy who loves taking things to bits, building and servicing bikes cannondale appeals. I love the BB30, the holowgram crank.
I don't care where the frames are made, I was just curious as it can be hard to find exactly which version you have.

Without data, it's just an opinion.
With data, ...but I can't talk about that.
