Am looking to replace the Praxis rings on my SS Evo. It would seem sensible to consider a Spidering but I am confused re the various versions - on-line information resources give differing accounts of the differences between the 10 and 8 arm versions.

I'd want a 52/36 and already have the fitting tool.....

Does no one have any insight to offer as to the difference between the 8 and 10 arm versions?

The 8 arm weighs 190g and costs about £105.

The 10 arm weighs 160g and costs about £169.

I think the difference is from extra machining on the 10 arm version.

(The weights are for 50/34, but presumably the difference will be similar for the 52/36).

See https://issuu.com/erwannbiheux/docs/cat ... ndale-2016 for more details.

I think the 8 arm version is forged (pressed into shape) and the 10 arm version is CNC machined. I believe the 8 arm is the Si version and the 10 is the SiSL.
