Hello, I have a SRAM Red (mostly) drivetrain acquired in 2012. It's the 10-speed, pre Yaw version. Does anyone know if the XG-1090 cassette will be compatible with this drivetrain?

I happen to run with the PG-1070 cassette and PC-1071 chain currently. I've been told anecdotally that there may be noise/grinding and overall compatibility issues from the XG-1090 cassette, and to consider the OG-1090 instead. It's a little hard to obtain concrete information on four-year old parts at this point. Anyone care to share their thoughts?

I'm using xg 1090 cassettes on everything. Working fine on shimano as well as rival cx1 rear derailleur . I do find it to be slightly noisier than 11 speed sram. I use ultegra and kmc chains.

Thanks. Are you running the XG 1090 on a pre-yaw (pre 2012) rear derailleur?
