Not as close as the above post.

600 x 400 = 1.5 Stack/Reach Ratio

Non-USA
Large Canyon Ultimate 592 x 391 = 1.51 'stiff, light and ideally somewhat aero'

USA
58cm H2 Madone 601 x 391 = 1.54
62cm H1 Madone 606 x 407 OCLV 700 Stiffer = 1.49

Your hard work will pay off with a lot of thanks from those of us who could really benefit from being able to zero in on frames that offer ideal S to R specs.

Thanks Red, I'm sure you're right. I created spocalc.xls, and it makes me happy to see it used by wheel builders all over the world.

But a lot of the stack & reach data I've typed in belongs to my employer, so this time I cannot give it away.

Do you know about Dan Empfield's S&R database?

I tried to find meaning in the Stack/Reach ratio, and for a fixed frame size (e.g., the size always sent to TOUR magazine) it can begin to define the riding position okay.

But for people who don't ride that frame size, I think S/R is not helpful. The reason is the S/R ratio changes across the size range, more than it changes between Race & Endurance bikes.

True, That's why I gave the relative stack & reach for each frame as well. S/R Gives a quick overview for an individual comparing their required frame sizes.

Have you looked at any women's specific frames?

They tend to have taller head tubes.

Agreed, much harder finding long and low. Apart from the RB1K there aren't really many.
