Puncture is what i am worrying about. The durability is secondary. Weight is amazing (160g)

Trying some Gum wall Victoria's first. If I dont like the sidewalls and decide to go all black, will try the Gp Super Sonic's i guess.
There are some good choices tested here. The new Vittoria Corsa Speed has the least rolling resistance.

This is great. Thanks.
The only problem is, they dont make the Corsa Speed G+ clinchers with gum walls!!!

Just weighed two Continental GrandPrix Supersonics I have in the basement. 700x23. 158 grams and 163 grams. They wear out pretty quickly. I don't get too many more flats with them than other tires.

Could try veloflex masters, I believe the 700x23 clinchers are somewhere in the 180g-190g neighborhood? Not the lightest out there but they sure are great tires. Or, more drastically, they have a 20mm size that is more like 170g.

Veloflex Records are in the 140-150gm weight range and in tan sidewall

Nice tire. No gum sidewall though!!! Little Heavier than Veloflex Record. Have to do reasorch tomorrow !!!
you're going to have to add a bit of weight to get some degree of puncture resistance; and weight isn't the whole story, some tires may be a bit heavier than others but will have less rolling resistance.
I think a combination of puncture resistance, light weightness, and low rolling resistance is best found with the Specialized S-Works Turbo, they incorporate the BlackBelt puncture guard belt, weigh 220 grams, but only use 32.8 watts which puts it in third position in watts used behind two other (which also happen to be Specialized tires) tires but one is tubeless and the other is a tubular and neither have any puncture resistant belt added but with the tubeless it's recommended that you use a sealant goo and that tire is twice the cost of the S-Works Turbo just so you can save 1 watt.
