Is it just me, or is this shaping up as a boring year for new bike designs?

It just seems like much of the engineers' and designers' time has been spent on updating various models to discs.
Or maybe we were just spoiled by last year, by all the new approaches on things like the Venge vias, new Madone etc.
Is there anything in the hopper that could be hyper interesting this time around, or any potential candidates for that whose marketing cycle has played out?

Well, maybe for classic road bikes. Gravel/allroad/adventure is buzzing.

That's good point. There are only so many engineers and to a great degree their bandwidth may be getting absorbed by that and the issues involved with adding discs to various models, which isn't as simple as it might seem.

hmm, well there is the Cervelo P5, or more traditional road bike the Pinarello Dogma F8W, or if more vintage look appeals to you there is the Colnago Arabesque. Any of those three bikes would have you looking good and not look boring at the same time.

Willier just dropped the Cento10Air. That's a good year for me.
