Shoe sizing differences Scott Road RC

Hi,

I recently read Tours article about cycling shoes and in that it listed Scott roar rc as wide shoe. As everywhere reviews tend to say that these shoes are narrow, is it really so?

Im currenly running gaerne g.chrono as size 45 and even as it is comfy my heel slips a bit. So these aren't exactly best fit atm.
Been drooling for bontragers xxx as these are actually wide.

But now my lbs is selling Scotts Road RC for quite nicely discounted price.
As they had those in other shop and I can return them I ordered those, but instead of trying different sizes, sending them back and all that annoying fiddling - can someone share some light on these shoes.
Are they actually in wider part or not?
